The CCJC was formed more than 35 years ago and some of its members have been involved form the very beginning. As one might imagine, with all the history behind it, the club has seen many changes over the years but one thing remains. . .an undying love for traditional jazz music!
To your left is Mr. Chuck Cecil, an iconic figure representing "The Swingin' Years", a long standing radio show which he's hosted from the very start more than 50 years ago! Chuck has interviewed at one point or another many if not most of the jazz greats of the 40's, 50's, 60's right on up to today! Take a listen!
This summer, at one of the CCJC's 3rd Sunday events, Chuck was awarded the highly respected NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) professional achievement award. He's done so much in and for the music industry and is much loved for his many contributions!
